FOUR men have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and a tractor in Watchet.

The incident happened shortly after 10.30am this morning on Doniford Road.

The casualties included a 28-year-old man with a hip injury, a 15-year-old with a leg injury, a 22-year-old with a head injury and another 22-year-old with leg and hand injuries.

The fire service cut free one of the victims who was trapped in the car.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to a two vehicle RTC on Doniford Road in Watchet at 10.32am.

"Four people were reported to have been injured and one man with a serious leg injury was airlifted to hospital by the Devon Air Ambulance."
All four people were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
