FIRE: Butlins in Minehead
FIREFIGHTERS put out a small kitchen fire at Butlins in Minehead.
Two fire engines from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a kitchen fire at the holiday park, shortly before 5pm on Monday.
Upon arrival, crews found the fire to be confined to a domestic cooker within staff accommodation, and put out the fire using a dry powder extinguisher.
The food inside the oven had caught fire, and there was no serious damage caused.
