FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a chimney fire in Porlock.
Crews attended the incident in Redway, Porlock, at 1.30pm today (Monday, March 6).
Upon arrival the team set to work to extinguish the fire in the woodburner from the hearth and the roof.
They used a triple extension ladder, chimney gear, hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental."
