FIRE crews were called to Porlock after reports of a chimney fire on a thatched roof.
One engine from Porlock and two from Minehead were called to the fire on Lane Head around 8.30pm on Tuesday (April 5).
On arrival crews found the fire was within the flue of the chimney.
It was extinguished using chimney gear and a blanket of compressed air foam to protect the thatch.
