THERE is plenty going on down in Exmoor this May with a month-long extravaganza celebrating all things outdoors.
It is part of the first Exmoor Coast & Moor Outdoor Festival which will have everything from Spring Festivals to Duck Race events to introductory rock climbing lessons in the spectacular backdrop of the Valley of the Rocks.
Also on the itinerary are a Seahorse Safari and kayak sessions in Combe Martin, as well as the chance to look for wildlife in the forest at dusk with Exmoor National Park rangers.
Visit Exmoor development manager Jennette Baxter said: “All of nature seems to be bursting into life. We are promoting a range of activities and places to visit that will help people to make the most of this incredibly beautiful area this month.”
