A MAN was freed by firefighters after he became trapped under his quad bike.
Firefighters from Williton were called to Leigh Barton Farm in Old Cleeve near Williton just after 11pm last night (August 6) to assist ambulance crews.
One fire appliance from Williton along with the fire co-responders attended.
Due to the location, crews had to travel by a 4x4 for access to the incident.
On arrival, crews confirmed a man was trapped underneath a quad bike after it had rolled following a crash.
Firefighters assisted paramedics by stabilising the casualty and then by removing the roof of the quad bike using a Makita saw and small tools.
The man was released and handed over to paramedics and air ambulance crews on scene.
