Firefighters save all sorts of lives - and yesterday Minehead Firefighters proved this, rescuing two goldfish as they tackled a flat fire.
Three people were treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a first floor bedroom.
Crews were called to Orchard Road in Minehead at 9.10pm last night (Monday, September 25) and they used two breathing apparatus, one attack jet and one safety jet to extinguish the fire.
They then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said:"Two goldfish were also rescued from the fire."
