A CARE company from Dunster is delighted after earning a rare Outstanding rating in its most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC report).
Margaret Hayes, director of Dunster Lodge in the Community said she was proud of all the staff for their hard work that went into achieving this result.
Dunster Lodge provides personal care and support to people living in their own homes in the West Somerset area and cares for around 90 people.
The CQC report stated: "People were cared for by staff who were always kind and went over and above their job role to make sure people were happy and comfortable. People gave us a number of examples of where staff had 'gone the extra mile.'"
The report also found that clients received 'extremely personalised care' and people were highly complimentary about the timing of visits meaning they could plan their lives.
