A MAN who allegedly absconded from Taunton Crown Court and was hunted by police has appeared in court.
Oliver Milsom, 23, of The Croft, Williton, appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court on Saturday, January 27 charged with escaping from lawful custody.
It is alleged Milsom jumped the dock in Court 1 at Taunton Crown Court on Friday, January 26 and escaped from the building.
