HAVING once employed hundreds of Somerset workers, Watchet Paper Mill closed in December 2015.
Since the closure, the huge site has lain dormant, stripped of equipment and abandoned.
But now, work is progressing on demolishing the mill, which operated for 265 years.
Somerset Camera Club members Becky Power and Liz Elmont have been to the site and caught some amazing images revealing the extent of the work carried out - and how a once buzzing industrial site now stands vacant...
Liz Elmont took this picture in December 2017...
By April this year, when Becky Power was at the site, this was the scene...
The future of the site remains unclear after it was bought by an investment firm.
It is expected work to clear the site could take up to two years alone...
