NO WHISPERING, no talking, not a single sound crossed the lips of the school council representatives at St. John's CE Primary School in Wellington, as they took part in a sponsored silence.
A spokesperson for the school said: "The group of children were fantastic, giving up their lunch break with teachers Mrs Davies and Mrs Weymouth joining in too.
"The children raised more than £60 for Conquest Riding for the Disabled and Able bodied.
"Well done and thank you parents for your support too."
