CHIMNEY FIRE: Crews from Wiveliscombe were sent to a fire shortly after 7pm at Nordens Meadow
FIRE crews were called out to a chimney fire in Nordens Meadow.
One engine was sent to the incident shortly after 7pm last night (February 17).
On arrival, crews confirmed the chimney was well alight and got to work extinguishing the fire from the hearth using chimney gear and also from the roof using a ladder and safe working at height equipment.
Crews checked the area using a thermal image camera and confirmed all extinguished.
Duty of care was left with the owner.
