MORE than £635 was raised for charity after a wacky event in Wiveliscombe.
The town's branch of RGB Building Supplies raised the money for Children’s Hospice South West during its #UptheVolume event to celebrate Children’s Hospice Week on Friday, May 26.
The week, organised by Together for Short Lives, encouraged people to ‘amp’ up the awareness of children’s palliative care.
Staff from RGB showed their support by adding neon colours and funky hair to their outfits for the day.
They also held a bake sale to hep boost the fundraising total.
Ed Livesey, branch manager at RGB Wiveliscombe, said: “Children’s Hospice South West is our chosen charity so the team were keen to get involved. A huge thank you to all our customers who donated to help us raise such a fantastic amount of money.”
