BEFORE your effort to clear Taunton of litter, what about the grass verges left uncut, and the overhanging of various branches, trees and shrubs at the bottom of people’s gardens?

I think this should be the council’s first responsibility, then pick up the litter afterwards, once the grass verges were cut, as along Priorswood is a disgrace.
