A WELLINGTON woman had a double win in the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment Campaign spring raffle.
The coffee morning at West Monkton Village Hall last Thursday, was also the scene for the spring raffle and co-incidentally Shirley Cook won both of the top two prizes.
Shirley won a holiday in North Devon, donated by Morgans Fish and Chips, in Taunton, and a trip to the House of Commons and tea with Taunton MP Jeremy Browne, donated by Berry's Coaches.
Other prizes included Cognac, a crochet bedspread, a voucher, wine and glasses, and toiletries.
This week's fundraising line-up includes prize bingo at Creech St Michael on Saturday July 14, starting at 7.30pm.
SURE fundraisers have so far collected over £500,000 towards providing a scanner, simulator and other equipment for a mask making room.
They hope to raise £750,000.
