Running raises funds

THE Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment campaign has had a quiet but profitable week, when Laetitia Grant of Taunton ran in the Bath half marathon.
Laetitia managed to raise a staggering £670 for SURE, bringing the total amount since the campaign joined forces with the County Gazette to £72,301.
This week's line-up is Bingo at West Monkton Village Hall, on Friday July 20, eyes down at 7.30pm.
Fundraisers have so far collected over £500,00 towards providing a scanner, simulator and other equipment for a mask-making room.
They hope to raise £750,000 in total.
