SURE nearing £100,000 mark

A CAMPAIGN to equip the new cancer unit at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, is nearing the £100,000 mark - with the help of County Gazette readers.

More donations have arrived this week for the County Gazette-backed SURE campaign - the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment.

Donations have come from: Mrs Willsone (£25), Mr KW Pilgrim (£100), and JL Peacock (£40).

The total donated by County Gazette readers now stands at £91,432.

The next SURE fundraiser is a bingo night at Monkton Heathfield Village Hall tomorrow (Friday), eyes down at 7.30pm.
