College boost for SURE

CHARITABLE staff at Somerset College, in Taunton, have boosted the County Gazette-backed Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment.

Staff raised £57 for SURE, which is equipping the new cancer unit being built at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, by donating money instead of giving Christmas cards.

SURE fundraiser Jeff Gale said: "We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff that put their hands in their pockets to help raise money for SURE.

"It is always rewarding to see local people supporting such a local charity."
