TASTY cakes and refreshments have helped raised a massive £950 for the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (SURE) campaign.
A coffee morning was held by Dick Brewer and his family at West Lyng Farm on Saturday and dozens of people turned out to support the event raising hundreds of pounds for the campaign, which aims to provide equipment for a new cancer centre due to be built at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital.
As well as delicious cakes to eat, and teas and coffees, there were also hand made preserves and jams available to buy.
