TAUNTON School played host to young rugby players from all over the South West as the RFU staged the region's Under-14s State Schools Cup.

The tournament was won by Beechen Cliff School, representing Bath and North East Somerset, who beat Coombeshead Academy (representing Devon) in the final.

West Somerset College came third beating Winchcombe School (Gloucestershire) in the third and fourth place play-off.
