WELLINGTON have a chance to gain quick revenge when they entertain Bradford Town in the Toolstation Western league tomorrow (3pm).

Jamie Ward’s side were controversially beaten 2-1 by Bradford 11 days ago after conceding a disputed penalty and will be extra-keen to put one over their visitors.

Last Saturday Wellington suffered defeat in Wiltshire for the second successive Saturday as they lost 3-0 away to Corsham Town.

The Bradford Town result may have been close but this defeat was more comprehensive.

Ward said: “It was a disappointing performance in a dull game with Corsham only marginally better than us.

“We only had four players who came out of the game with any credit. There is little more to say other than when the game is flat you need more than four players to turn it around and we simply didn't have that. “Despite creating some decent chances, two of which should have been taken, we gave away two very sloppy goals with poor defending and there was no way back.

“While we were missing some key players the overall standard of performance was way below our recent levels.”
