FOOTBALL: Time off for Taunton Town ahead of Merthyr clash

TAUNTON Town are without a game today following their 1-0 home defeat by Shortwood on Wednesday.

Their original fixture with Cirencester Town was pulled forward and played last November, and with all other clubs being engaged there was no chance of rearranging another match.

That at least gives them extra time to recover before tackling high-flying Merthyr Town in the Evo-Stik League at Wordsworth Drive next Wednesday (7.45pm).
