A GOOD all-round performance by Taunton saw them home to a six-wicket success at Gipsy Lane over visiting Bishopston in the Bristol & Somerset Division.

Bishopston won the toss and elected to bat and they were all out for 138 in 48 overs.

They made a decent start and were 91-3 at one stage, but then suffered a batting collapse.

The wickets were shared around the Taunton bowling attack with Chris Greenwood taking 3-19 and two wickets apiece for Jack Coooper and Robert Dickens.

Taunton struggled at the start of their reply when they went from 14-0 to 14-3 with Tom Abell, Craig Williams and Jack Cooper all back in the pavilion.

But Jon Kerslake (45) helped to put Taunton back on track and it was left to number three Hugh Kelly (58no) and Robert Dickins (14no) to see them home in the 43rd over.
