MINEHEAD return to action following a quiet festive period when they visit Stockwood Green in the Errea County league on Saturday (2pm).

The much-anticipated Boxing Day clash with Watchet at Irnham Road was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch while the Blues were without a scheduled game on Saturday.

After such a promising start to the season, when they headed the table for a while, Minehead have slipped down the table to seventh and will be hoping the New Year brings a change in fortune.

WATCHET Town suffered their fourth postponement in a row when their game at Ilminster was called off on Saturday because of a waterlogged pitch.

On Saturday the Red & Blacks are scheduled to visit last year’s champions, Nailsea United, kick-off 2pm.
