SAM White, running for a new group called The Peacock Firm, won the Longrun Meadow parkrun for the third time in 15 runs on Saturday.
White, who timed 19m 31, beat Iain Elliott (19m 43s) into second while Dan Clark of Taunton AC finished third in 20m 6s.
Hannah Taunton of Taunton AC was first woman home for the third time in 11 runs with a time of 20m 34s. Daisy Hunt came second in 24m 58s and Karen Monteiro third in 26m 32s.
With the counter-attraction of the Hestercombe Hurtle and Humdinger yesterday the number of runners was down to 132.
However two notable competitors were juniors Cameron Klein and Tom Blight who collected T-shirts for completing their tenth run.
