TIVERTON start a busy and crucial period in their season tomorrow when they visit Bridgwater Town in the Calor Southern league.

The match will be given added spice by the presence of former Tivvy skipper Nathan Rudge in the Bridgwater defence.

On Tuesday Tivvy face the daunting trip to second-placed Cirencester Town.

Then two days later the Yellows host high-flying Swindon Supermarine – the first of four home games in a row which look certain to define their season.

On Tuesday Tiverton drew 0-0 with Premier Division St Neots Town in the first leg of the Redinsure Southern League cup final in front of 237 fans at Ladysmead.

Manager John Clarkson declared himself satisfied with the result. He said: “It’s only half-time, it’s all to play for at their place.” The second leg takes place on Tuesday, April 8.
