DURHAM lead Somerset by 42 runs with nine wickets in hand going into the third day of their County Championship match at the County Ground.
The Cidermen held the upper hand yesterday afternoon as Alviro Petersen (78) and Craig Overton (45 not) guided them to 234 all out - a first innings lead of 79.
But Durham fought back in their second innings, finishing the day on 121-1 thanks to unbeaten 50s for Stoneman and Richardson.
