ALEX Munro, Oake Manor’s talented PGA assistant professional, has enjoyed a very busy and successful week.
He finished 13th in the PGA Total Triumph order of merit event held at Oake Manor with scores of 69 and 68 for a three under par total score.
The field was full of highly-skilled and full-time tournament professionals including three European Tour players and Philip Price a past Ryder Cup player – who Munro outscored.
Munro also finished third in the Powerade National Assistant Regional qualifying at Honiton, shooting 70 in very wet and windy conditions.
In addition Munro has qualified now for the 54 hole National Assistants Championships at Coventry Golf Club from June 11-13.
