THE Goodman Cup Bogey Competition at Taunton and Pickeridge GC attracted a good entry.

Kevin Gidley on +6 who came out the winner in Division One, one better than Steve Comber on +5, with Neil McWilliams third on +3.

Division Two was won by Matt Gaskin with +7. Martin Sawyer was second on +4 and John Wall third with +3.

There was a three-way tie at the top the Division Three but following countback it Richard Hatcher with +3 who was the winner, just ahead of Adrian Howe and Chris Puckett.

Sunday’s Stableford was won by Tom Sloman with 43 points, while Andy Clark was second on countback from Nick Larcombe after both scored 36 points The Three Ball Open was won by Roger Neale, Kieron Hector and Lee Hellier who were the winners with 79 points.

Second place was claimed by Paul Deal, Matt Bettridge and John Davies with 77 points, while Chris Maggs, Richy Barker and Rob Allan were third on 76.

The T&P Ladies turned out in force on Tuesday to take part in their Captain’s Charity Medal.

In the Silver Division it was Lennox Heath with net 70 who was the winner, one ahead of second placed Louise Worth, while Mary Guy claimed third spot with 75 after countback.

The Bronze Division was won by a storming round of net 61 by Jane Salter, 10 shots ahead of second placed Liz Davies. Patsy Morgan was third with 74 on countback ahead of Judy Powell who ended with the same score.

Jane Salter was the winner of the Ladies’ Captain’s Charity Trophy.
