CATHERINE Wheel started their defence of their Division A title in the Blackdown Hills league with a 40 pin win over newly promoted Dam Busters.
It was a week for all the home teams in Division A with the exception of Bashers who recorded a 20 pin away victory over Remoulds In Division B all the home teams won. The stand out match was Granddads Army v High Flyers.
The Army hit 410 thanks to father and son Charlie and Barry Hutchings who both top scored with 70 in a 69 pin win.
