TAUNTON Town face another one of their main Evo-Stik League promotion rivals on Saturday when they travel to play Didcot Town, kick-off 3pm.

The Oxfordshire team are hot on the Peacocks’ heels, lying one place and five points behind in third spot, but have experienced a dip in form of late, having secured just one win from their last seven league outings.

They were however victorious when the sides met at the Viridor Stadium in late Sept-ember, enjoying a fortuitous 2-1 success after Taunton had missed numerous chances inc-luding a penalty.

John Mills, scorer of both Didcot goals that day, leads the Evo-Stik League goalscoring charts with a tally of 28 so far.

Taunton manager Leigh Robinson said: “We’re on a really good run at the moment but will need to be at our best on Saturday to sustain it.

“Didcot are free-scoring and are pushing for the play-offs so I expect a tough test.

“Our away record is great though so we’ll go there with zero fear and express ourselves.”

There are a limited number of seats available for supporters who want to attend the game.

The coach will depart at 10.45am from the ground and the cost is £15 per person.
