AFTER two weekends in the comfort of Hyde Park, Taunton Titans take to the road and travel to one of the most famous grounds in the South-West when they head to Hell Fire Corner to take on Redruth with an early 2pm kick-off.

Over the past few seasons the Titans have struggled to get a result down in Cornwall and came the closest last season when they lost by one point after they were reduced down to 15 men after just three minutes.

The coaches know that to get any type of result against Redruth they will need to keep all players on the pitch for the full 80 minutes and that discipline will be a big factor on the game.

So far this season Redruth have already beaten the likes of Canterbury, Bishops Stortford and will want to add another one of the teams that have beaten them already this season as they narrowly lost at Hyde Park picking up a losing bonus point in the 24-17 defeat.

Taunton will hope to see some of their more experienced players fit for selection with the likes of Marshal Cormack and Brett Harvey both picking up injuries over the last few weeks.

However this was a big boost for the squad and the home crowd to see Ratu ‘Toots’ Vakalutukali back in a Titans shirt for the first time this season after breaking his leg playing sevens in the summer.

After two good wins this weekends result will put them both in to context and once again go some way towards the end of the season and if the Titans will be in the mix.
