TAUNTON Town face a trio of Evo-Stik League away games in the space of a week beginning with tomorrow’s trip to Cinderford Town, kick-off 3.00pm, followed by the trek to Fleet Town on Tuesday evening, kick-off 7.45pm.

They then face the prospect of travelling to league leaders Merthyr Town on Saturday week.

After securing maximum points from their five league fixtures during January to cement second place and extend their unbeaten run to 14 games, the Peacocks will be looking to maintain their excellent form on the road which has seen them lose just once all season.

Cinderford came away with a point from the Viridor Stadium following a 1-1 draw in December but some indifferent results since then has seen them drop down to a mid-table position whilst Fleet were beaten 2-1 back in August.

Manager Leigh Robinson said: “It’s an important seven days with three tough away games. Cinderford are chasing the play-offs and Fleet always perform best against teams near the top of the league, especially at home, so we’re in for a test.

“We have points on the board though so it’s not like we are playing under any pressure and this will help us keep the mentality the same as it has been all season.”

There are seats available on the coach to any supporters who wish to travel to any of the games. The club have set prices at £10 per person per trip for the rest of the season.
