WHIRLWINDS trampoline and DMT club enjoyed a tremendous weekend, bringing home a haul of medals at the first competition of the season at Bath University.

Ella Hooper Bleeks, Rhiannon Briffa and Isaac Turner excelled with double gold in both trampoline and double mini-trampoline (DMT) on an incredibly successful day for the Whirlwinds.

In trampoline the gold medallists included – Level 1: Rebecca Heaslewood (13+), Level 2: Lily Hughes (9-10) and Liam Isaac (13+), Level 3: Isaac Turner (7-8), Level 5: Rhiannon Briffa (11-12) and Lucy Morton (13-14) and in Level 6: Ella Hooper Bleeks (11-12).

Silvers went to Lucinda Parr (9-10) in Level 1 and Tegan Gage (13+) in Level 2.

The Whirlwinds had an equally successful day on double mini trampoline with gold in Level 3 for Isaac Turner (7-8) and Jasmine Uminski (13+), in level 5: Rhiannon Briffa (11-12) and level 6: Ella Hooper Bleeks (11-12).

Silver was awarded in Level 3 to Lucy Morton (13+) and in Level 5 to Honey Moe (11-12). Bronze medals went to Lily Hughes (9-10) in Level 2 and Felicity Rickard (11-12) in Level 3.

The scores will be aggregated with those from the next competition on March 22 with the best performers picked for a regional team to compete for the South-West in the national finals in July.
