KING'S College pupil Taylor Stote was crowned South West Boys Amateur golf champion after shooting 73 and 71 in the Championships at Teignmouth Golf Club last week.

Recently Stote, who plays at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club, took part in the Scottish Boys under 16 Open Championship in Arbroath where he tied in 12th place which has put him in 33rd in the European rankings for under 16 boys.

This week Stote is taking part in the McGregor England under 16s Boys Open at Wallasey in Cheshire, where he will compete individually - in addition to which he has received his England call-up to compete in the Nations Cup at the same venue.
