FORWARDS coach Chris Brown praised the ‘pace and precision’ of Titans’ attacking play during Saturday’s ten-try demolition of Canterbury at Hyde Park.

Brown was delighted with his side’s ‘energised’ performance and urged them to replicate it when they travel to Dorking and Worthing in the next fornight.

Brown said: “Following last week’s disappointment, the team were highly motivated to get back to winning ways.

“I felt we were energised from start to finish and played with a pace and tempo which brought dividends.

“Largely, the game was controlled by a great half back combination with the emergence of Toby East at 12.

“They attacked with precision and pace and were a constant threat.

“The forwards provided a constant source of ball and we can be pleased with our afternoons work as a team.

“The conditions were horrendous and to implement the pace and continuity into the game that we did was a credit to the team that took the field.

“I felt that we fully engaged in the game plan and showed that we can put it together.

“The forwards stuck to their plan and kept things simple, and the backs finished the job.

“In the next two fixtures we are away at Dorking and Worthing and we will need to replicate that to get points.

“However, for today, we are really satisfied.”
