TAUNTON Town will play Gloucester City or Hemel Hempstead Town at home in the final qualifying round for the FA Cup.

The draw was made by Jim White, Dean Ashton and Jeff Mostyn live on TalkSport earlier today.

The Peacocks will play Gloucester on the weekend of October 15, with a place in the first round proper up for grabs.

The Peacocks bagged their place in the next round after beating Hampton and Richmond Borough 2-1 at the weekend, thanks to a brace from Jordan Rogers.

If the club can beat , it will only be the second time the club has made it into the first round proper, with their one and only appearance coming against Swindon in 1981, where they lost 2-1, with 16-year-old Kevin Haynes writing his name into the history books with the goal for the Peacocks.

Around 600 people attended the previous game, and it is expected that a bumper crowd will head to the Viridor Stadium as FA Cup fever grips the town.

Gloucester City and Hemel Hempstead Town drew 2-2 at the weekend, and will replay the tie tomorrow (Tues).

If the club manage to make it into the first round, the game will be played on the weekend of November 5.
