SOMERSET will host Nottinghamshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup knock out play-offs after a no result at Middlesex secured second spot in the South Group for Matthew Maynard's side.
Persistent rain at Lord's saw Wednesday's final group match abandoned without a ball being bowled, leaving Somerset on 11 points from their eight group games.
That tally is enough for a home tie against the Outlaws, who finished third in the North Group, in a play-off to take place in Taunton on Tuesday, June 13.
A win there would see them travel away in the semi-finals, which are later the same week on June 16 and 17.
The visitors are likely to have Stuart Broad in their ranks for the trip to the County Ground, though Alex Hales will almost certainly be on England duty in the Champions Trophy.
Ticket information for the Nottinghamshire match is to be released by the club tomorrow.
