TAUNTON Bowling Club duo Pete Shaw and James Amery enjoyed success at the Somerset County Bowling Association finals on Saturday.
Taunton hosted the occasion at their Vivary Park base, and welcomed many of the county’s top bowlers over the course of the day.
The home pairing of Shaw and Amery walked away with the Pairs title after a fine performance which saw them defeat Bath duo Steven Sherlock and Dave Lawrence.
The outdoor season at the club comes to an end with Captain’s Day, which gets underway at 2.15pm on Saturday, September 23.
