Galmington 34, Whitchurch 28

GALMINGTON clinched a second win in a row as they hosted Bristol-based side Whitchurch at Vale.

GALMINGTON'S Under-16s travelled to Paignton to compete for a spot in the Regional league.

A 17-12 win against Penzance saw a strong confident start, however a run of tough fixtures against Poole Aquarians, Gloucestershire’s Hucclecote and Swindon’s Raychem followed, and the opposition proved too strong.

The girls didn’t qualify for Regional League 1 and instead will take part in the newly-formed Regional League 2.
