TAUNTON Town have had their second successive game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, with tonight's scheduled match at home to Wimborne being called off after a pitch inspection this morning.
After Saturday's fixture at Barnstaple Town was put back, the same fate has befallen the Wimborne game at the Viridor Stadium - which had already been postponed twice.
The original date in November was rescheduled due to the Peacocks' Buildbase FA Trophy replay at Beaconsfield, and the second attempt was scuppered by a waterlogged pitch just before Christmas.
The Peacocks hope to return to action on Saturday, when Didcot Town visit Taunton for a 3pm kick-off.

IF Saturday's match goes ahead, it could see two new players make their first appearances for Town.
Keith Emmerson joined from Farnborough last week, and now the club has announced that Joel Randall has arrived on a work experience deal for the rest of the season, from Exeter City.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who made his Grecians debut in November's Checkatrade.com Trophy defeat to Chelsea Under-21s, adds cover for last season's captain Brett Trowbridge.
Trowbridge suffered a broken cheekbone in the Peacocks' 1-0 win at Mangotsfield United last week, and is likely to be on the sidelines for some time.
