TAUNTON Town's scheduled Evo-Stik South West match at home to Slimbridge tomorrow (Saturday) has been postponed due to a snow-covered pitch at the Viridor Stadium.
It caps a frustrating week for the Peacocks, who saw their match at Barnstaple Town on Tuesday night postponed at short notice due to a frozen pitch - much to the aggravation of chairman Kevin Sturmey.
Wellington's Toolstation Western League Premier Division home match against Melksham Town has been called off, as has Bridgwater Town's hosting of Odd Down in the same division.
Bishops Lydeard's match at Cheddar in the First Division is also off.
The entire Somerset County League programme has been wiped out too, meaning no games for Watchet Town, Staplegrove or Minehead.
