The All Blacks also sent a team to the North Dorset Villages Relay Marathon, finishing the course in 4:23.

Tuesday saw the final club run for the Couch to 5K programme members before their graduation day on Sunday.

THE sun was shining as runners from Just Run Taunton headed out and about.

Thousands of runners took to the streets for the Simplyhealth Great Bristol 10k.

The first JRT runner back was Andy Simmons in 44:36.

Wayne Brooks posted 48:58, and Johnny Rayner 49:04.

The first Just Run ladies to finish were Julie Gilbert and Alison Davidson in 52:13, ahead of Mandy Clements (55:57).

Running for the Jessie May charity was Clare Swanning (59:27), while Katie Baker took two minutes off last year’s time, crossing in 1:02:50.

Down in Bideford, Michael Kemp completed the 10k in 1:03:09, while the Ottery 10k saw Jane Hardacre post 48:28.

Rachel Nichols and Lindsey Haigh were recovering from the 27-mile London Moonwalk, done in just under eight hours and 10 hours, respectively.

Saturday’s Longrun Meadow Parkrun involved Joe Shaun, coming 10th overall in 19:36 (PB), Kev Willcocks (26:47), Julie Gilbert (26:57) and Jon Rayner (28:43).

THE sun was out and so were the Running Forever members, showing off their new red and white in places far and wide.

It was another White Star Running weekend so a small contingent set off for the Rushmore Estate.

Andy Burgess took part in the Ox 50 Ultra, completing it in 10:22.

Bev Collins and Rob Murr did four laps of the Frolic to hit marathon distance in 5:11 and 6:34, respectively, while marathon machine Claire Allison did five laps for her first official Ultra in 12:08.

On Sunday, it was the Ox Half, which saw Jamie Hill and Duncan Gordon finish in 2:48, with Kirsti Nelson and Ali Wasey back in 3:31.

Five members travelled to Bideford for the 10k event, and first home were Philip Osborne (46:42) and Goff Welchman (52:39, PB).

Lara Bolduc finished in 55:54, Cathie Welchman in 67 minutes and Pat Pike in 72 minutes.

This weekend’s Parkrun tourists went to Killerton, while 31 took on the course at Longrun Meadow.

Hannah Taunton had another success and big personal best last Wednesday, at the monthly Yeovilton 5k.

Running in her Taunton Athletics Club garb, she was first lady home in a time of 17:21 – a course PB of 11 seconds.

She was joined at the event by Running Forever’s Pat Date (23:14) and Gill Taunton (29:14).

CHRIS Jones was first Hydro Harrier home at Longrun Meadow Parkrun last Saturday, in 20:28.

Brian Pearson, on only his 20th appearance, managed a time of 22:39.

Fighting off a chasing pack, Rowland Lyons was three seconds under the 25-minute mark.

Parkrun tourist Andy White managed a Burnham PB, with 19:27 – nearly 30 seconds better than his previous best.

New member Andy Phelps recorded a time of 28:32.
