With FA Cup prize money having been doubled for this season, there's little chance of an understrength Taunton side turning out tomorrow - the winning club will earn £6,000 from the FA prize fund.

Interim boss Rob Dray said on Tuesday: "It has been a whirlwind 48 hours for everyone but it's a massive game on Saturday.

"The FA have doubled the prize money so every game is huge.

"With Taunton there are expectations after our run to the first round two years ago, so it's a big one."

SO who are Taunton's opponents?

The Harlequins hail from Salisbury and are currently in the Premier Division of the Wessex League.

They play their home matches at Western Way, and the manager is Rae Hughes, who was appointed in April 2017.

The club was formed in 1989 as an amalgamation of Bemerton Athletic, Moon FC and Bemerton Boys, in order to enter the Wessex League.

Several second and third-place finishes have followed, plus League Cup victory in 2010.

They also made the last 16 of the FA Vase in the 1998/99 and 2012/13 seasons.

Harlequins haven’t made a strong start in the league this campaign, drawing one and losing two of their three games played so far.

It’s been a different story in the FA Cup, mind you, having drawn 0-0 at Thatcham Town (last season’s FA Vase winners) on Saturday, August 25.

That forced a replay, which took place on Tuesday, with the Harlequins winning 3-2 on home soil.

They stormed into a 3-0 lead at half time, courtesy of goals from Jake Burgess, Kelvin Robinson and Charlie Young.

James Tennant and Shane Cooper-Clark hit back after the break, but the hosts held on, and they will now aim to upset the Peacocks on Saturday.
