WILLITON'S bowlers travelled to Taunton Deane last Thursday and won by seven shots, 57-50.

Scores: D. Court, D. Wickens, S. Canterbury, B. Smallwood 18-13; B. Small, M. Ferris, R. Every, E. Ferris 12-14; P. Gliddon, S. Every, C. Thorne, A. Wickens 12-9; J. Thorne, M. Brooks, J. Jay 15-14.

The County League fixtures got under way on Saturday with a fine win at Wyrral Park.

Williton won two rinks to one and by 20 shots overall.

Scores: S. Huggett, P. Gliddon, S. Perkins, C. Thorne 19-14; R. McNally, R. Every, R. Mitchell, D. Donald 15-20; A. Wrightson, B. Smallwood, J. Jay, D. Sully 30-10.

Williton travelled to Taunton Vivary on Monday in the Top Team competition and were well beaten, 4-1.
