CRAIG Kieswetter said there is no reason why Somerset can’t win every competition in their 2012 campaign which starts this week.

The 24-year-old has been in good form after he hit a swashbuckling 155 against Worcestershire before compiling an impressive 81 in a one-day friendly against Surrey and then 135 in a three-day match between the teams.

He said: “If we keep doing the right things and play with the right intentions then hopefully we will get our rewards.

“Hopefully we can win everything.”

The wicketkeeper batsman said he is happy with his own personal performances.

He said: “It is always good to get runs regardless whether it is a pre season match or not.

“It is runs under the belt and time in the middle so I am not complaining – pre season has been really productive for me.

“We have been really lucky with the weather and it is realistic to stay at home to play the pre season games because you can get used to the conditions.

“The first two games are massive for us to get a good start.”

Somerset start their 2012 campaign on Thursday (April 5) when Middlesex are the visitors at the County Ground.
