ANGLING: Bumper week at Clatworthy Reservoir

FISHING was excellent at Clatworthy Reservoir last week despite the poor weather with 229 fish caught at a rod average of 2.8.
There were some good bags of fish caught weighing between 18lb and 22lb, with the largest bag weighing 21lb 12oz caught by Chris Bee.
The biggest four fish limit was 14lb which included a 4lb 10oz rainbow.
Main tactics were floating lines with Diawl Bach, small Hares Ear and Damsels, also with dry Daddies and Bracken Beetles.
Main areas for fishing continues to be along the lodge bank and into the bay.
