FOOTBALL: Taunton Knights finish Soccerleague in style

THE inaugural Soccerpitch Taunton Monday League reached its final week with Premier league winners Taunton Knights collecting their trophies after a 13-3 demolition of Heathfield.

Ingram, Clooney and Fowler all scored four goals in an excellent team performance.

Ohhh Yeah finished third after a surprising 3-2 defeat by Hardly for whom Piper scored two.

In the Championship Burnell was in fine form, bagging a hat-trick for Straight Edge and they secured promotion with a 5-4 defeat of Inter. Burnell’s goals took his total for the season to 28.

Creech demolished Balotelli's 29-0 in a one sided affair, Marsh scoring an astonishing 13 goals.

Merry Monk beat Rizzlekicks 6-5, Carroll scoring two excellent goals.
