Yeovil Town go shirtless for team photo

YEOVIL Town went to an extreme measure yesterday to highlight the fact that the club is still looking for a main sponsor for the 2012-13 season.

The club held its annual pre-season photocall – but this was with a difference when the players turned out for the official team photograph wearing no shirts at all.

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson told the BBC: “If we haven’t got a sponsor at the moment then you can’t wear the shirt.”

And he added: “It's a little bit tongue-in-cheek of course; it's not serious.”

Thankfully, and no criticism of Johnson’s physique, he and the rest of the management team kept their shirts on for the photocall.
