TAUNTON Town can look forward to a fortnight of home comforts as they enter another crucial period in their quest for promotion from Southern League Division S&W.

The Peacocks welcome Didcot Town, Tiverton Town and basement-side Bashley to the Viridor over the next two weeks, knowing a perfect record would keep the pressure on league leaders Cinderford Town.

Taunton are four points behind the leaders, having played one game more and would require a slip up from the Forest of Dean side - who host fellow promotion-chaser, Tiverton Town on Saturday - in order to take top spot.

Mid-table Didcot are the visitors to the Viridor this weekend and head into the game on the back of a goalless draw at struggling Wantage Town.

Tuesday night (February 9) sees local rivals Tiverton make the short trip up the M5 for a derby clash, with the Yellows also in need of a result to keep their play-off hopes alive.

League whipping boys Bashley come to town on February 13, still in search of their first point of the season.

The Hampshire side have lost all 24 of their league games this season and have a goal difference of -107.
